However, just like last time, the plushies sold out quickly within 3 to 4 hours. Then On April 21, 2021, both Isabelle and Tom Nook would be back for ordering online. On April 20, 2021, Build-A-Bear confirmed that the duo would be in for a restock on April 21th. On July 14th 2021, the collection arrived in stores for the US. On June 9th, 2021, the third character was revealed to be K.K. Along with that because the sleeper outfit was put up on the website, both a Happy Hugs Teddy and Pawlette were added in that said collection. On May 26, 2021, both a sleeper outfit and two wristie accessories (bell bag and present) would be available only in the UK. On May 11, 2021, both plushies would receive a winter outfit counterpart, the plushies also went back in stock as well. On May 7 2021, both are up at the NintendoNYC store and online at there for sale along with Yoshi. They also announced another character on the same day. Unfortunately the plushies sold out quickly only lasting a few hours before going out of stock. On April 6, 2021, both Isabelle and Tom Nook have been revealed for pre-ordering and would be available online to buy. On April 5, 2021, Nintendo confirmed that the collab will be dropping on April 6th of the same year. On March 20, 2021, Build-A-Bear tweeted to celebrate Animal Crossing New Horizons 1st Birthday. Then finally, the day after the tweet was post, Build-A-Bear finally confirmed that Animal Crossing was coming to Build-A-Bear. Then on March 9, 2021, both the official Build-A-Bear Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram account stated that they would like to see what their fans would like to see in the Workshop, and most of the replies that day were wanting the Animal Crossing collab. This had the official account replying and saying "Wow! □ We're taking notes." thus teasing the crossover. On May 21, 2020, a Twitter user named tweeted out to the Build-A-Bear account saying "a build a bear x animal crossing collab would be a cultural reset".
